WASCO wishes to procure Janitorial Services for its Head office which is located at L’Anse Road, Castries, and in that regard, WASCO is inviting selected firms to submit proposals for the provision of the required services. Details for the required Janitorial Services are provided in the attached Terms of Reference.

In assessing the proposals received for provision of the required Janitorial Services, WASCO will give primary consideration to the experience of the firms in providing similar services, the proposed approach to provision of the services, and the cost proposed for the services.  All information must be submitted in English.  Further information may be obtained from the address below between 8:30 am and 4:00 pm hours Monday to Friday.

Firms invited to submit proposals must submit three (3) hard copies of their proposals, which must be received at the address below no later than 12 PM  on Friday August 31st, 2018.  Each submission should be delivered in a sealed envelope which should carry the name and address of the firm and shall be clearly marked “Proposal for Provision of Janitorial Services to WASCO Services”.

WASCO intends to enter into a contract for the provision of the required services following the assessment of proposals received. WASCO reserves the right to accept or reject late submissions or to cancel the present invitation partially or in its entirety.  WASCO will not be bound to assign any reason for not selecting any proposal and will not defray any costs incurred by any company in the preparation and submission of a proposal

CONTENT OF PROPOSALS

The proposals should contain all relevant information to enable WASCO to assess the capability of the firm to provide the required services, and to determine the cost-effectiveness of the proposal. The proposals should include information on:

1. The official registration of the company
2. The number of years of operation
3. The names and profiles of senior officials and managers of the firms
4. The full range of services provided by the firm
5. The list of current and past clients for which the firm provides similar janitorial services, and the time periods over which the services were provided
6. The names and contact information of at least 3 references who can be contacted by WASCO about the services provided by the firm
7. A detailed description of the approach to be applied in undertaking the required services, including the number of staff and their various designations
8. The monthly cost for providing the servicers, with full details showing how the total monthly costs are derived, and including any standard rates applied for various services.
