The National Research and Development Foundation (NRDF) is seeking an experienced, reliable, professional and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Training & Administrative Assistant.

The successful candidate will provide reception, customer service and administrative support for NRDF’s training programs and assist with the day-to-day administration and coordination of courses and student services.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
• Providing professional reception and customer service.
• Answering telephone calls and responding to customer and student enquiries.
• Providing information on NRDF courses and assisting with student registration.
• Maintaining accurate student, course and payment records.
• Communicating with students regarding course schedules and paymen deadlines.
• Following up on outstanding student payments and prospective customers.
• Assisting with course scheduling, registers and classroom preparation.
• Processing and recording payments and receipts in accordance with NRDF procedures.
• Assisting with QuickBooks and other administrative records.
• Preparing documentation for the Accounts Department.
• Maintaining organized files and general office records.
• Providing day-to-day supervision and guidance to the Administrative Assistant/Cleaner.
• Performing other administrative duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Applicants should possess:
• A Certificate, Diploma or equivalent qualification in Office Administration, Business Administration, Customer Service or a related field.
• A minimum of (3-5) years’ relevant work experience in reception, administration,
customer service or a similar role.
• Good computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to provide guidance and day-to-day supervision to support staff.
• Demonstrated ability to work professionally with customers, colleagues and members of the public.

Experience with QuickBooks, payment processing, databases or training administration will be an asset.
