Overview
SURVEILLANCE SUPERVISOR
Invest Saint Lucia (ISL) is seeking to employ a Surveillance Supervisor to oversee the surveillance team,
monitor all ISL lands, record and report all activities taking place on these lands especially activities that
are not in keeping with the policies of the agency.
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Familiarisation with all ISL lands, boundaries and land uses.
- Undertake scheduled and unscheduled site visits on land owned by ISL.
- Prepare weekly reports to be submitted to the office manager.
- Serve stop notices accompanied by photographs and videos where needed.
- Coordinate and execute activities related to the prevention of illegal occupation of ISL lands.
- Support ISL in the execution of land related projects.
- Effectively represent ISL on committees/associations as required.
- Able to represent ISL in court matters.
This role will be part of the Land Administration Department, and the Officer will be expected to provide
support where needed.
KEY COMPETENCIES:
- Conflict Resolution skills
- Attention to details
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel and Auto – Cad
- Background in land surveying and mapping
- Holder of a valid driver’s license
- Strong creativity, communication (oral and written), public speaking, problem-solving and networking skills
- Ability to work within a team
- Proven ability to work in a demanding, deadline-driven environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in estate management, quantity surveying or related field, OR an Associate Degree in these areas with at least 3 years’ experience.
