Overview
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Process sales, handle cash, and support daily outlet operations
- Merchandise shelves, receive stock, conduct stock take, and monitor expiry dates
- Maintain cleanliness and adhere to health and safety standards
- Assist customers, handle telephone orders, and drive additional sales
- Support purchasing of goods and supplies
- Manage cash reconciliation and deposits
OTHER COMPETENCIES
- Basic knowledge of computer systems
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish effective working relationships with internal and external partners
- Excellent Customer Service skills
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of Creole would be an asset
- Excellent cash handling/ cash management skills
- Ability to upsell/ cross-sell
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
QUALIFICATIONS
Diploma in a Business related filed OR Five (5) CSEC subjects including Mathematics and English with (1) years’ experience in a grocery store, sales merchandising, food distribution or related business
