Overview
Acado St. Lucia is seeking Seasonal Warehouse Operators to support the on-time delivery of customer orders by picking, packing, loading and storing goods, while maintaining a clean and organized warehouse. The role also involves assisting with deliveries and stock takes, with close attention to accuracy in stock numbers, SKUs and quantities. Candidates must be able to read and write well enough to pick correct items, lift up to 50 pounds, and work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Job Requirements
- Manually handle materials, products and equipment to support on-time delivery of customer orders.
- Assist with loading and delivering of goods.
- Receive and fulfill customer orders by retrieving the correct items from designated locations within the warehouse.
- Assist in proper picking and packing of goods.
- Maintain effective housekeeping in and around the warehouse.
- Assist with proper storage and rotation of goods.
- Assist with stock take.
- Precision in verifying stock numbers, SKUs, barcode data and item quantities to minimize shipping errors.
- Perform any other related duties as directed by Manager.
Qualifications
- Must be able to read and write sufficiently to pick the correct goods and identify customer delivery locations.
- Ability to lift heavy boxes (50 pounds) and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to act independently and with a team while performing required tasks.
