Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing the daily operations of the retail outlet, including opening and closing procedures, staff supervision in the absence of the Retail Store Manager, and preparation of daily operational reports.
  • Support retail merchandising, promotional, and marketing activities by ensuring displays are executed creatively, effectively, and on schedule while maintaining high visual standards throughout the store.
  • Ensure the shop floor, storeroom, and freezer are clean, organized, well-stocked, and compliant with safe working practices.
  • Assist with stock receiving, inventory organization, daily cash reconciliation, and the processing of customer and supplier orders.
  • Support the Retail Store Manager with staff scheduling, training, performance appraisals, and providing hands-on assistance to the sales team as needed.

Qualifications

  • Associate Degree or Certificate in Business Administration, or a related field or Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in retail operations, customer service, or a supervisory role.
  • Experience in cash handling, inventory management, and merchandising.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and retail point-of-sale (POS) systems.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays, as required.
