Overview
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Accurately record all retail-related transactions
- Process customer sales transactions
- Receive and process cash, cheque, and credit card payments, and issue receipts accordingly
- Address customer inquiries, complaints, and product-related questions
- Manage and balance cash float
- Merchandise products and ensure items are correctly priced and coded
- Assist with stocktaking and inventory counts
QUALIFICATIONS
- Five (5) CSEC subjects, including
- Mathematics and English, or a minimum of two (2) years’ experience in retail, sales
and marketing, food distribution, or related field.
OTHER COMPETENCIES
- Basic knowledge of computer systems
- Excellent Customer Service skills
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of Creole would be an asset
- Excellent cash handling/ cash management skills
- Ability to upsell/ cross-sell
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
