Overview

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Accurately record all retail-related transactions
Process customer sales transactions
Receive and process cash, cheque, and credit card payments, and issue receipts accordingly
Address customer inquiries, complaints, and product-related questions
Manage and balance cash float
Merchandise products and ensure items are correctly priced and coded
Assist with stocktaking and inventory counts

OTHER COMPETENCIES
Basic knowledge of computer systems
Excellent Customer Service skills
Good oral and written communication skills.
Knowledge of Creole would be an asset
Excellent cash handling/ cash management skills
Ability to upsell/ cross-sell
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

QUALIFICATIONS

Five (5) CSEC subjects, including Mathematics and English, or a minimum of two (2) years’ experience in retail, sales and marketing, food distribution, or related field.
