Overview

JOB SUMMARY
The Operations Manager is responsible for delivering strong operational performance across multiple store locations while developing high-performing Store Managers. The role ensures effective execution of company strategies, achievement of sales and financial targets, and consistent, high-quality customer experience. Equal focus is placed on driving results and building leadership capability across the business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Leadership & People

  • Lead, coach, and develop Store Managers to build accountable, high-performing teams.
  • Set clear expectations, monitor performance, and support ongoing development.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and customer focus.
  • Address performance and employee relations matters in a timely and effective manner.

Operations & Performance

  • Execute operational strategies to meet sales, profitability, and service targets.
  • Monitor store performance, analyze results, and take corrective action as needed.
  • Oversee inventory management, shrink control, and product availability.
  • Ensure strong cost control, including labor productivity and expenses.

Standards & Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to company policies, operational standards, and procedures.
  • Maintain high standards of customer service, store presentation, and cleanliness.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food safety requirements.

Planning & Execution

  • Support budgeting and resource planning across locations.
  • Ensure stores are prepared for peak and seasonal trading periods.
  • Drive execution of key operational initiatives and projects.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related field.
  • Minimum five (5) years’ experience in a senior, multi-unit management role.
