Fond Doux Eco Resort is seeking enthusiastic, dependable, and service-driven professionals to join our team in Soufrière. Set within a historic working cocoa estate surrounded by lush tropical gardens, Fond Doux offers guests an authentic Saint Lucian experience built around hospitality, nature, culture, and sustainability.
We are currently recruiting for the following positions:
Chef
The Chef will support the delivery of exceptional dining experiences by preparing high-quality meals, maintaining consistent presentation and flavour, and ensuring excellent kitchen standards. The successful candidate should have strong culinary skills, knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices, the ability to work efficiently in a busy hospitality environment, and a passion for showcasing quality cuisine.
Cook
The Cook will assist with the preparation and presentation of meals while maintaining the resort’s standards for quality, cleanliness, and consistency. Responsibilities include preparing ingredients, cooking menu items according to established recipes, maintaining a clean and organized workstation, and supporting the wider culinary team.
Concierge Agent
The Concierge Agent will help create memorable guest experiences by providing warm, professional, and knowledgeable assistance throughout each guest’s stay. Responsibilities include responding to guest enquiries, providing information about the resort and surrounding attractions, assisting with tours, transportation, dining and activity arrangements, and helping resolve guest requests efficiently.
Candidates should possess excellent communication and customer-service skills, a professional attitude, and strong knowledge of Saint Lucia’s tourism offerings.
Maintenance Technician
The Maintenance Technician will assist with the general upkeep and efficient operation of the resort’s facilities, guest accommodations, equipment, and property infrastructure.
The successful candidate should be able to perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and general repairs. Practical experience in areas such as electrical work, plumbing, carpentry, air-conditioning, equipment maintenance, or general property maintenance would be an asset.
Tour Guide
The Tour Guide will provide engaging and informative experiences for guests while showcasing the history, culture, natural environment, and unique features of Fond Doux and Saint Lucia.
The ideal candidate should be confident speaking with individuals and groups, possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and have a genuine passion for Saint Lucian history, culture, agriculture, nature, and tourism. The ability to create an entertaining, educational, and memorable experience for visitors is essential.
What We’re Looking For
Ideal candidates should demonstrate a positive and professional attitude, excellent teamwork and communication skills, reliability and punctuality, strong attention to detail, and a genuine commitment to outstanding guest service. Previous experience in hospitality, tourism, or the relevant position would be an asset.
Candidates should also be comfortable working in a dynamic resort environment, including weekends and public holidays where required.
