Overview
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Assist with the sale of merchandise
- Prepare and organize meat and vegetables within the freezer
- Support in-store merchandising efforts
- Store and retrieve items from the storeroom and freezer as needed
- Monitor product expiry dates and alert the supervisor when items are nearing expiration
- Consistently provide a high standard of customer service
QUALIFICATIONS
- Five (5) CSEC subjects, including
- Mathematics and English, or a minimum of two (2) years’ experience
in retail, sales and marketing, food distribution, or related field.
OTHER COMPETENCIES
- Knowledge of proper food storage and temperature control standards
- Basic inventory management skills
- Attention to detail when handling perishable goods
- Excellent Customer Service skills
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work in cold storage environments for extended periods
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
