THE COMPANY 

Canadian Bank Note Company, Limited produces bank notes and payment systems, passports  and passport-issuing systems, lottery tickets and electronic lottery games, postage stamps,  securities certificates, shareholder communications, and other high security documents and related issuing systems. The Company markets its products to government agencies and 

authorities, as well as to institutional and other customers in more than 40 countries. The Company manages the Saint Lucia National Lottery in Saint Lucia, through its wholly owned subsidiary CBN St. Lucia Inc

THE POSITION 

We are seeking to recruit an experienced and strategic Finance Manager to join our forward  thinking and collaborative leadership team. This position plays a pivotal role in driving business  success by managing and overseeing the company’s financial operations, ensuring compliance  with regulations, and providing financial analysis to support strategic decision-making. 

Key responsibilities include: 

  • Oversee the day-to-day financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and  reporting. 
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with  accounting standards. 
  • Lead cash flow management and working capital optimization. 
  • Develop financial models to support strategic initiatives and decisions.
  • Manage tax, audit, and compliances activities. 
  • Manage the financial accounting information system. 
  • Perform financial analysis and decision analysis support for special projects.
  • Perform fiscal year-end close activities and work with external auditors as required.
  • Collaborate with department heads to track performance against budgets.
  • Identify and assess financial risks, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure compliance  with regulations. 
  • Continually seek and implement strategies to streamline and improve finance and  accounting operations. 
  • Lead, supervise, and mentor finance team, providing guidance and support. 

THE CANDIDATE 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related discipline. 
  • Five (5) years’ experience in financial management or related roles. 
  • Professional certification from a local or international association (ACCA, CGA, CMA,  CA, AAT or equivalent). 
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations and reporting standards. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications with expertise in Excel. 
  • Proficient in financial software (SAGE preferred). 
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills. 
  • Must possess a vehicle in good working order.
