Overview
The Drafting & Pricing Officer job is responsible for developing clear and accurate workshop drawings that reflect project specifications. The pricing of jobs by design, weight, size and material type. This role requires attention to detail ensuring all plans are precise and compliant with industry standards in a dynamic and fast-paced manufacturing and construction environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Reading of architectural/engineer drawings and producing estimates
• Collaborate with engineers and architects to ensure accuracy of drawings
• Conducting work site visits
• Revise drawings as needed based on feedback
• Create detailed workshop drawings based on project specifications
• Maintain drawing files and documentation
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure project alignment
• Attend project meetings as necessary
• Ensure compliance with drafting standards and regulations
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
• Provide support to production manager and workshop team
• Assist with project coordination as needed
Requirement
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or other recognised drafting software
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Minimum of 2 years experience as a Drafter
• Knowledge of drafting standards and regulations
• Ability to work well in a team
• Strong problem-solving skills
