Peter & Company Distribution is Hiring a Cycle Count Officer.

REQUIREMENTS 

  • Cycle counts at Retail locations and delivery vehicles are planned and performed daily to ensure that all items are counted at least once in every 30 days.
  • Assists with the write off goods to ensure that they examined and disposed of in keeping with company procedure.
  • Assists with the coordination of monthly, quarterly and end of year stock counts.
  • Ensure policies and procedures over inventory are adhered to.
  • Ensure receiving, dispatching, picking and billing errors are flagged through analysis
  • Work with other departments and functional areas to ensure completeness and accuracy of daily stock entries.
  • Make recommendations for improvement of policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Associate Degree in Business or Accounting from a recognized institution
  • At least 2-3 years’ inventory experience at a senior level would be asset
  • Experience in an accounting computerized environment
