Overview
Fond Doux Eco Resort is seeking a friendly, energetic, and customer-focused Bartender to provide exceptional beverage service and create memorable guest experiences. The successful candidate will prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages while maintaining high hospitality standards in a warm and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve cocktails, wines, beers, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and professionally.
- Provide excellent customer service to resort guests and restaurant patrons.
- Recommend drinks and promote signature cocktails and specials.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area at all times.
- Ensure bar equipment and supplies are properly maintained and stocked.
- Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or supply needs.
- Process guest orders accurately and handle cash and card transactions responsibly.
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation standards.
- Verify legal drinking age requirements and promote responsible alcohol service.
- Assist with bar setup and closing procedures daily.
- Support restaurant and events teams during special functions and activities.
- Create a welcoming atmosphere that reflects the hospitality and charm of Fond Doux Eco Resort.
- Perform any other related duties assigned by management.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Previous experience as a bartender in a hotel, resort, restaurant, or bar environment preferred.
- Knowledge of cocktails, beverage preparation, and bar operations.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Friendly, professional, and well-groomed appearance.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Basic math and cash-handling skills.
- Certification in Food & Beverage service would be an asset.
