Job Title: Bar Supervisor

Location: Coco Palm Resort, Saint Lucia

Job Type: Full-time

Job Summary:

Coco Palm Resort is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Bar Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our bar, ensuring an excellent guest experience. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a deep knowledge of beverage service and bar management.

Key Responsibilities:

•Supervise bar staff, ensuring high-quality customer service and adherence to resort standards.

•Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar environment.

•Oversee the preparation and presentation of drinks, ensuring consistency and quality.

•Develop and update the beverage menu in collaboration with the Food & Beverage Manager.

•Monitor inventory levels, place orders, and manage stock to prevent shortages.

•Train and mentor bartenders and servers on beverage preparation, service etiquette, and upselling techniques.

•Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.

•Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally.

•Monitor bar sales, analyze trends, and assist in creating promotions to boost revenue.

•Assist in scheduling and staff management to ensure efficient operations.

Requirements:

•Previous experience as a Bar Supervisor, Bartender, or in a similar role.

•Strong knowledge of cocktails, wines, spirits, and beverage service.

•Excellent leadership and team management skills.

•Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

•Strong communication and customer service skills.

•Knowledge of POS systems and bar inventory management.

•Certification in food safety and alcohol service is a plus.
