We’re Hiring: Administrative Assistant – Island Rentals Inc. (St. Lucia)

Island Rentals Inc., one of St. Lucia’s premier car rental companies, is seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Administrative Assistant to become a vital part of our growing team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate vehicle rentals, including pick-up/drop-off and contract processing.
  • Handle bookkeeping tasks and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Upsell services to enhance customer experience and maximize revenue.
  • Monitor inventory, handle purchasing, and ensure stock levels are maintained.
  • Track vehicle maintenance schedules and liaise with vendors.
  • Ensure timely payments of vendor accounts.
  • Create and manage engaging social media campaigns (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok).
  • Respond to customer inquiries across all platforms (email, WhatsApp, social media, phone).

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Minimum of five (5) CXC/CSEC subjects, including passes English Language an Mathematics.
  • Certificate, Diploma, or Associate Degree in Business Administration, Office Administration, Secretarial Studies, Basic Accounting, Marketing or a related field would be an asset.
  • Experience managing social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok, would be an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to work independently, exercise initiative, and maintain professionalism when dealing with customers and vendors.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays, as required.
