Education Quality Improvement Project (EQuIP) Training Programmes for Teachers

The Caribbean Development Bank (CDB), through the Department of Economic Development, Transport and Civil Aviation has approved the “Education Quality Improvement Project (EQuIP)” which is geared towards the enhancement of Saint Lucia’s education sector.One component of the EQuIP is enhancing capacity to improve teacher quality, relevance of education, and instructional effectiveness across the education sector.  This project also focuses on enhancing the provisions for Special Needs Education in Saint Lucia. In fulfilling these objectives short-term and degree-level continuing professional development training programmes are provided for teachers.The Education Quality Improvement Project (EQuIP) is inviting suitably qualified candidates to apply for the following Master’s programmes at the University of New Brunswick.

Please note that the University’s intake periods for these courses of study are May 2019 and September 2019.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
To be considered for this scholarship opportunity, an applicant must:be a citizen and/or permanent legal resident of Saint Lucia;have permanent employment status;be accepted at the University of New Brunswick;hold a first Degree or equivalent.
VALUE OF SCHOLARSHIP
The value of the scholarship is as follows:Round trip ticket;Tuition and mandatory fees;Accommodation;Monthly complementary subsistence allowance;Medical insurance; and Text book allowance.Warm clothing allowance (one-time)
