TURKISH SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMME 2019
The Embassy of the Republic of Turkey is inviting suitably qualified persons to apply for the Türkiye Scholarship which is a government funded, competitive scholarship programme, specifically designed for international students who are desirous of studying at higher education institutions in Turkey. Türkiye Scholarships aim to build a network of future leaders committed to strengthening cooperation among countries and mutual understanding among societies and contribute to the richness of global information environment.
The scholarship is awarded to outstanding applicants to pursue undergraduate and graduate programme at the top universities in Turkey and are open for all fields, according to the preferences of the applicants.
Eligibility Requirements
To be considered for this scholarship opportunity, an applicant must:
- be a citizen and/or permanent legal resident of Saint Lucia;
- submit a completed scholarship application with all supporting documents via the online application form;
- for the master’s degree programme, applicant should hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or have an educational attainment equivalent to bachelor’s degree approved by law; and
- for the PhD programme, applicant should hold a master’s degree from an accredited college or university or have an educational attainment equivalent to a master’s degree approved by law.

The Scholarship covers:
- round trip airfare;
- tuition;
- accommodation in shared rooms; and
- monthly allowance.

Applicants are required to apply to the scholarship programme via the web link below, by clicking on the application form and creating an account for the said website. Additional information can also be obtained on this same website.
Kindly note that applications for all programmes will be open from January 15 – February 20, 2019 and interviews will be conducted between April and May 2019. The applicants will be notified of the results by July 2019.
