Overview
Role Summary
This role is responsible for finding the right items in the warehouse and getting customer orders ready to go out, correctly and on time. The successful applicant will check stock numbers, codes, and quantities carefully so there are no mistakes in what gets shipped. It suits someone who works well both independently and in a team, and who is comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
Job Requirements
• Receive and fulfill customer orders by retrieving the correct items from designated locations within the warehouse.
• Assist with loading and delivering of goods.
• Maintain effective housekeeping in and around the warehouse.
• Assist with stock take.
• Precision in verifying stock numbers, SKUs, barcode data and item quantities to minimize shipping errors.
• Assist with proper storage and rotation of goods.
Qualifications
• Must be able to read and write sufficiently to pick the correct goods and identify customer delivery locations.
• Ability to lift heavy boxes (50 pounds) and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to act independently and with a team while performing required tasks.
