Skin Science is seeking a talented, customer-focused Beauty Advisor/Makeup Artist to provide professional beauty advice, makeup services and personalized product recommendations to customers. The ideal candidate should have a passion for beauty, cosmetics, skincare and current makeup trends, along with the ability to create an exceptional customer experience.
The Beauty Advisor/Makeup Artist will consult with customers to understand their individual beauty needs, preferences, skin types, and desired looks. The successful candidate will recommend appropriate products, demonstrate makeup techniques, perform professional makeup applications for various occasions, and educate customers on the proper use and application of cosmetics and beauty products.
The role will also involve actively promoting products, assisting with sales, maintaining attractive and well-organized product displays, ensuring makeup stations and tools are clean and hygienic, and staying knowledgeable about new products, techniques, and industry trends.
Candidates should be friendly, confident, creative, professional, and comfortable interacting with a diverse range of customers. Strong communication and customer service skills are essential, along with an ability to contribute toward sales targets and build lasting relationships with clients.
Previous experience in makeup artistry, beauty retail, cosmetics, skincare, or a related field would be an asset.
