We are hiring a dependable and proactive sales associate to join our Home Store team, committed to delivering exceptional service and driving sales performance.
JOB SUMMARY: This position is responsible for maximizing sales and encouraging repeat business by demonstrating thorough product knowledge and advising customers on selection, purchase, and feature-benefits of appliances.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITES
- Welcome customers in a friendly and approachable manner and address their needs and queries by attentively listening to their inquiries.
- Exceed both individual and team sales targets by actively engaging with customers and showcasing product benefits.
- Clearly communicate product features, benefits, and ongoing promotions to customers.
- Educate customers on product range, pricing, delivery options, warranties, and product care.
- Enhance sales opportunities by cross-selling and upselling related products.
- Ensure adherence to the company’s credit procedures when finalizing Hire Purchase Sales.
- Process sales transactions, returns, and exchanges accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the products and services offered.
- Assist in visual merchandising activities, including setting up displays and arranging products attractively.
- Monitor and replenish stock levels on the sales floor to meet customer demands.
- Support periodic inventory checks to ensure accuracy.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of five (5) CXC’s including English, Mathematics and relevant business subjects.
- Minimum three (3) years of experience in the retail industry
- Associate degree or equivalent
- Proficient in various sales techniques, including prospecting, qualifying leads, demonstrating products, handling objections, and closing sales.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft and various computer applications
