CPJ St. Lucia Ltd., a premier distributor of food and beverage brands to the hospitality and retail sectors, is seeking a driven Key Accounts Sales Representative to join our Commercial Division. This role is ideal for a commercially driven professional who excels at relationship management, sales growth, and executing with discipline in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role

The Key Accounts Sales Representative is accountable for managing and growing a portfolio of hospitality and retail clients. You will be responsible for developing strong customer relationships, acquiring new business, maximizing sales opportunities, and ensuring seamless communication between customers and internal teams. This position requires a proactive, customer-centric professional with strong organizational acumen and a passion for driving commercial results.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Relationship & Account Management

  • Build and sustain strong relationships with customers in the hospitality and retail sectors.
  • Conduct weekly customer visits to manage assigned accounts and identify opportunities.
  • Maintain open, timely communication with customers, including escalation of any service or fulfilment challenges.

Sales Growth & Market Development

  • Acquire new accounts and expand CPJ’s footprint across the sector.
  • Secure market lists and convert opportunities to drive incremental sales.
  • Support pricing and negotiation strategies in collaboration with Sales Management.
  • Submit weekly market visit reports, including competitor insights and emerging opportunities.

Order & Product Management

  • Follow up on customer orders to ensure accuracy and timely fulfilment.
  • Update product and price sheets weekly.
  • Maintain full product knowledge across the division’s portfolio.
  • Participate in stock counts as required.

Internal Collaboration

  • Work closely with Customer Service and Warehouse Operations to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Engage customers on outstanding receivables and support the collections process when necessary.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Tertiary-level education in Sales/Marketing, Management, Food & Beverage, or a related discipline.
  • Proven sales experience, preferably within the hospitality or retail food industry.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and customer-relationship management skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and perform under pressure.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Must be willing to travel regularly to customer sites.
  • Must own a vehicle
