Job Title: Accounts Clerk
Department: Finance / Accounts
Reports To: Finance Manager
Job Summary:
The Accounts Clerk is responsible for providing administrative and accounting support to ensure efficient financial operations within the organization. The role includes processing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, assisting with reconciliations, and supporting the finance team with day-to-day accounting activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process invoices, receipts, payments, and other financial transactions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records and filing systems.
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
- Prepare bank deposits and assist with bank reconciliations.
- Reconcile supplier and customer statements.
- Assist with payroll processing and related documentation when required.
- Prepare and enter accounting data into accounting systems/software.
- Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on overdue accounts.
- Assist in preparing financial reports and monthly summaries.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and financial procedures.
- Provide general administrative support to the finance department.
- Perform any other related duties assigned by management.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Associate Degree, Diploma, or Certificate in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1–2 years’ experience in an accounting or clerical role is an asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Experience with accounting software is an advantage.

Working Conditions:
