Overview

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Process sales, handle cash, and support daily outlet operations
  • Merchandise shelves, receive stock, conduct stock take, and monitor expiry dates
  • Maintain cleanliness and adhere to health and safety standards
  • Assist customers, handle telephone orders, and drive additional sales
  • Support purchasing of goods and supplies
  • Manage cash reconciliation and deposits

OTHER COMPETENCIES

  • Basic knowledge of computer systems
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish effective working relationships with internal and external partners
  • Excellent Customer Service skills
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Creole would be an asset
  • Excellent cash handling/ cash management skills
  • Ability to upsell/ cross-sell
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

QUALIFICATIONS

Diploma in a Business related filed OR Five (5) CSEC subjects including Mathematics and English with (1) years’ experience in a grocery store, sales merchandising, food distribution or related business
