Job Summary

The Inventory Officer/Clerk is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring proper stock levels, and supporting the smooth operation of the warehouse. This role plays a key part in ensuring that our clients receive their orders on time and in perfect condition.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, stock movements, and warehouse transactions.
  • Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Receive, inspect, and record incoming goods and materials.
  • Prepare and dispatch outgoing orders in coordination with the logistics team.
  • Monitor stock levels and notify management of low inventory or overstock situations.
  • Ensure proper labeling, storage, and organization of inventory items.
  • Assist in implementing inventory control procedures and best practices.
  • Operate inventory management software and update databases as needed.
  • Collaborate with procurement, sales, and warehouse teams to ensure seamless operations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the storage area.

Qualifications & Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in logistics or supply chain is a plus.
  • Proven experience in inventory management, warehousing, or a similar role.
  • Familiarity with inventory software (e.g., QuickBooks, Zoho Inventory, or similar).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Basic math and data entry skills.
  • Ability to lift and move moderately heavy items.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Attributes

  • Experience in the hospitality supply industry.
  • Knowledge of hotel product categories and usage.
  • Forklift certification (if applicable).

Working Conditions

  • Warehouse environment with occasional office work.
  • May require standing for extended periods and lifting boxes.
  • Standard working hours with occasional overtime during peak seasons.
