Employment Opportunity: Front Office Clerk

A reputable hotel located in Soufrière is seeking a qualified and service-oriented Front Office Clerk to join its team. This position plays a key role in ensuring a welcoming and efficient guest experience at the front desk and is ideally suited to candidates with a passion for hospitality and strong administrative capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist guests upon arrival, ensuring a high standard of customer service
  • Manage check-in/check-out procedures and respond to guest inquiries
  • Maintain accurate booking records using the hotel’s reservation system
  • Provide general administrative support to the front office team
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be 21 years or older
  • Must reside in Soufrière or surrounding areas
  • Prior experience in front desk operations or hospitality is an asset
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask and remain composed under pressure
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications and familiarity with booking systems
  • A minimum of 6 CXC subjects, including English and Mathematics (compulsory)
  • Must be presentable, courteous, and professional in appearance and conduct
