Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform weekly/monthly review, coding, and publishing of invoices/bills in cloud-based platform for a portfolio of clients.
  • Manage the monthly close process including reconciling all transactions, accrual JEs and generating financial statements for clients.
  • Prepare sales invoices on a weekly/monthly basis for a portfolio of clients.
  • Set-up payments to vendors on a weekly/monthly basis for a portfolio of clients.
  • For all clients, refresh bank feeds in QBO/Xero or obtain and upload bank statements to QBO/Xero if bank feed is not operational. Compare bank statement to QBO/Xero bank feed to confirm accuracy on a periodic basis.
  • Manage payroll setup and weekly submission including quarterly 941 reporting.

Skills and Experience:

  • A Bachelors Degree in Accounts or Finance
  • At least 2 – 3 years of experience in Bookkeeping
  • Ideally certified in QBO and Xero or proven experience working with these software applications
  • Strong communicator – able to write and speak in English simply and clearly
  • The ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills
  • Ability to work within a team and be a self-starter
  • Ability to think critically and exercise sound judgement
  • Can provide a commitment of 2 year and seeking to grow with us and in their career
  • Good cultural fit (some traits we look for: friendly, open to feedback, respectful of other’s opinions)
