Overview

Massy Stores (St. Lucia) Limited is hiring a Project Manager.  

 MAIN RESPONSIBILITES  

  1. Develop and manage project plans for maintenance initiatives and capital improvement projects.
  2. Establish project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. 
  3. Oversee project execution, ensuring adherence to deadlines and quality standards. 
  4. Manage project risks and identify mitigation strategies. 
  5. Track project progress and report to stakeholders. 
  6. Negotiation of Pricing with Contractors/Vendors for timely Procurement, Delivery and Installation of all  Fittings, Fixtures and Equipment. 
  7. Preparation and Review of Tender Documents, Formulation of Scope of Works/ Specifications and Work  Programs. 
  8. Providing/Designing Floor Plans and Managing Architectural Drawings in AutoCAD for the purpose of  procurement, outfitting and tendering. 
  9. Developing and Managing Budgets for Store Renovations and new build Projects  
  10. Chairing meetings and liaising with Developers, Landlords, Contractors, Vendors, Clients and other Massy  Team Stakeholders as necessary. 
  11. Supporting the development of investment proposals for the approval of Capital and other Expenditures  related to projects.  

WORK ENVIRONMENT: 

  • Office environment along with on-site activities 
  • Regular site visits  
  • Exposure to construction environment  

REQUIREMENTS  

  • Bachelor’s degree in project management, engineering, construction management, or a related field (preferred). Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is required. 
  • A Master’s degree in Project Management or a related field is an asset. 
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, with a proven track record of delivering projects on  time and within budget.
